PRICING EXECUTIVE

- The Pricing Executive is responsible for preparing competitive and accurate freight forwarding quotations in response to customer inquiries. This role ensures timely submission of rates, coordinates with carriers and agents, and supports the sales team to win new businesses and retain existing accounts.

- Receive, analyze, and process customer quotation requests for international freight services (FCL, LCL, Air, etc.).

- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, overseas agents, and other vendors for buying rates.

- Prepare pricing proposals in line with company strategy and customer requirements.

- Maintain up-to-date rate records, tariffs, and surcharges for easy reference.

- Support sales team by providing accurate and timely quotations to maximize business opportunities.

- Liaise with overseas offices/agents to secure best routing and competitive rates.

- Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing activities.

- Work with the operations team to ensure feasibility of offered services and costs.

- Assist in tender pricing and large project quotations when required.

- Maintain pricing databases, records, and follow-up logs.

- Provide timely feedback on won/lost quotations to management for analysis and improvement.

- College degree or above, with a preference for majors in logistics or international trade.

- Preferably with experience working at Logistics/Freight Forwarder companies.

- Good analytical and synthesis skills, ability to grasp market trends.
