* What you'll do
- Understand the general building industry.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and engineering.
- Analyze and interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate frame and truss layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet structural integrity and compliance standards.
- Optimize designs for material efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Do truss detail using MiTek Saphire software for US Construction.
- Ensure customer queries are actioned and resolved appropriately in a timely manner to avoid construction delays.
- Be able to work in a team or independently.
- Contribute to language-related projects and initiatives.
- Other tasks assigned by the Manager.

*Essential Requirements
- A degree or diploma in construction, architecture, or engineering, or a related field preferred or an Associates plus equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software or specialized frame and truss detailing software (MiTek Saphire software is a big plus).
- Familiarity with US building codes and standards related to truss systems.
*Preferred Experience
- Relevant work experience in in timber frame and truss detailing is highly valued. This may include internships, apprenticeships, or practical work experience.
- Familiarity with construction materials, particularly timber.
- Skilled in interpreting detailed technical drawings.
- Comprehensive understanding of technical drawings, engineering principles, and construction documentation.
